Start this program with a single night in Windhoek before flying to Onguma Tented Camp in Etosha National Park. Dominated by a large mineral pan - a naturally occurring depression in the land that attracts numerous animals and birds – Etosha is known for its excellent game viewing. After two nights exploring Etosha, continue the journey with a flight to Mowani Mountain Camp in Damaraland, where activities include elephant nature drives, seeing the petrified forest and Twyfelfontein, or visiting Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes, an unusual vertical rock formation. From Mowani, head to Swakopmund for a single night and then continue on to Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge in the NamibRand Nature Reserve in southwestern Namibia. At NamibRand, soaring sand dunes and a palette of vivid colors create a stunning landscape that oryx and springbok roam across, and the Sossusvlei Mountain Lodge is the most luxurious lodge from which to experience the peaceful expanse of desert beauty.
