Special Features:
 - Be one of only a few travellers to encounter mountain gorillas in their own habitat. (In Rwanda, only 8 permits are issued each day to visit each of 5 families habituated for tourists, so please book in advance).
- Spend approximately an hour with a group of wild gorillas going about their daily social activities.
- Trek (moderately strenuous and varies in length) through bamboo and rainforest on picturesque volcanic slopes.
- Drive through one of the most picturesque countries in Africa, stopping at villages and viewing the beautiful scenery.
- Be moved by the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Education centre which gives dignity to victims of the most horrid of events, which the rest of the world abandoned.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1. Arrive Kigali: You will be met by Our representative and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken on a tour that includes a visit to the Genocide Memorial site. Overnight at the Novotel or Intercontinental Kigali.
Day 2 . Parc National des Volcans. You depart very early this morning for Volcanoes National Park Ranger centre and your first gorilla trek. Overnight at the Gorilla Nest Lodge. BLD
 Day 3. More Gorillas. This morning you do your second trek into the park. After lunch you are driven back through the beautiful countryside to Kigali. Overnight Novotel or Intercontinental Kigali. BLD
Day 4. Depart Kigali. After breakfast you are transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
Price Includes
Airport meeting and assistance, return airport transfers, Kigali city tour, all transportation by comfortable land cruiser jeeps, 3 nights accommodation, meals as indicated by BLD services of experienced guides.
Not Included:
Gorilla permit...current cost is USD$500 per person per trek
Vehicles:
4WD tourist converted landcruiser jeeps with a pop up roof - maximum 5 or 7 to ensure everyone has a window seat. There are cooler boxes but no air conditioning as climate is pleasant. All driver/guides have mobile phones.
