Tour Itinerary Day 1. Johannesburg to Golden Gate Highlands National Park. We proceed to the Golden Gate Highlands National Park, famous for its captivating scenery and invigorating climate. This afternoon discover the vast colourful sandstone formations, and enjoy the variety of wildlife and bird life which the park has to offer. Golden Gate - Brandwag Hotel or similar Day 2. Golden Gate Highlands to Kimberley. Today, proceed to Kimberly via Clarens, known as the ‘Little Jewel of the Free State’. Protea Hotel Diamond Lodge or similar Day 3. Kimberley to Cradock. This morning enjoy a tour of the world famous Kimberley Mine, the largest man-made excavation in the world. After a tour of the museum, continue south through the Great Karoo to Cradock via the historic towns of Britstown, De Aar and Hanover. B Die Tuishuis or similar Day 4. Cradock / Addo Elephant National Park. This morning depart for Addo Elephant National Park. After Kommadagga proceed to the park via the scenic Suurberg Pass, completed in 1858. B Zuurberg Mountain Village or similar Day 5. Addo Elephant National Park to Port Elizabeth. Enjoy the day at Addo Elephant National Park, which offers some of the most spectacular elephant viewing in the world. We then depart for Port Elizabeth, arriving late afternoon. B

Continue via Bethlehem to arrive late afternoon in Kimberley, home of the ‘Big Hole’ where the great diamond rush took place in 1871. Stop off at the north side pan in the city, to view the largest flamingo population in South Africa, before arriving at your overnight accommodation. B
