The Ruaha National Park and Selous Game Reserve are among East Africa's best-kept secrets. Ruaha is positioned along the Great Rift Valley in a unique transition zone where the eastern and southern species of fauna and flora meet. Jongomero Camp is a luxury tented camp set under shady acacia trees on the banks of the Sand River.

The vast Selous Game Reserve offers a diverse landscape from hot volcanic springs and placid lagoons to the many river channels that bisect the reserve. Selous Safari Camp is set on the water, and with no walls or fences, the animals wander freely through the camp. Tents are luxuriously appointed and have en suite bathrooms and showers under the stars.

Day 1

Arrive Dar es Salaam and fly by light aircraft to Ruaha National Park, Jongomero Camp.

Day 2

Game viewing activities in Ruaha National Park, Jongomero Camp.

Day 3

Depart Jongomero and fly by light aircraft to the Selous Game Reserve, Africa's largest game reserve, Selous Safari Camp.

Days 4-6

Game viewing activities in the Selous Game Reserve including game drives, walks or boating on the Rufiji River in search of hippos and Nile crocodiles, Selous Safari Camp.

Day 7

Fly by light aircraft to Dar es Salaam and depart.
