Day 1. Arrive Arusha. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met and assisted by Our representatives Grumeti Expeditions. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha. D Mount Meru Game Lodge or Arusha Hotel

Day 2. Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Your afternoon is at leisure. Optional visits to Masai Cultural Village or Nature Walk can be arranged (additional cost). BLD Lemala Camp Ngorongoro (2 nights)

Day 3. Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After an early breakfast, depart for a safari on the crater floor and a visit to the Olduvai Gorge. Return to your lodge for a late lunch, your afternoon is at leisure. BLD

Day 4. Serengeti National Park. NB: the camp is based in Ndutu between Dec to March and North Serengeti between June to October. After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Game viewing en-route. BLD

Note:

• When Lemala Serengeti is based in Ndutu between December and March, the drive is approx 4 hours from Lemala Ngorongoro and we will arrive in time for lunch.
  
  
• When Lemala Serengeti is based in North Serengeti between June and October, the drive is approx 8/9 hours from Lemala Ngorongoro and we will have a picnic lunch en-route and arrive in North Serengeti at the beautiful camp during late afternoon. The drive takes you through Central Serengeti, then to Ikoma gate. From Ikoma we take the murram road through interesting countryside and villages before re-entering Serengeti National Park at Tabora gate. If you don't mind a bit of adventure then do the drive. Otherwise we do offer an optional flight from Manyara to North Serengeti Lemala Camp Serengeti (3 nights)

Day 5. Serengeti National Park. Today you will have a full day to spend in the Ndutu or North Serengeti areas with picnic lunch following the migration. BLD

Day 6. Serengeti National Park. Early morning game drive in the Ndutu or North Serengeti areas following the migration. After a leisurely late breakfast, your morning is at leisure. You will enjoy lunch at the Camp before you embark on your afternoon game drive or optional Nature walk (only possible in Ndutu with advance notice). BLD

Day 7. Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This morning you will enjoy a bush breakfast at Lemala Serengeti. After breakfast drive to Lemala Camp Ngorongoro, en-route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of prehistoric man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Picnic lunch en-route. Arrive late afternoon, the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the lodge. Lemala Camp Ngorongoro. BLD

NB: We offer a supplemental  you can spend an extra night at Lemala North Serengeti instead of driving back to Lemala Ngorongoro on Day 7 and then fly back to Arusha from North Serengeti on day 8.

Day 8. Departure Drive to Arusha after lunch. Drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight back home. A Grumeti Expeditions representative will assist you at check-in and reconfirm your onward flight.

Accommodation with private facilities, arrival & departure airport transfers in Arusha, all park entrance fees, services of a qualified English speaking driver-guide, transport in a 7-seater 4x4 vehicle, 1L bottle of mineral water per person per day while on a road safari, 188 pages Vintage Africa Safari Guide covering the whole of East Africa, Vintage Africa Safari Pouch with a pen, Grumeti Expeditions Hat and meals as indicated by BLD.
