Bhutan, nestled in the heart of the great Himalaya, has for centuries remained detached from the rest of the world. Since its doors were opened in 1974, visitors have been enthralled by the pristine environment, the scenery and architecture and the hospitable and charming people.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Paro. Welcome to Bhutan. You will be met by representative and transferred to the hotel of your choice. Remainder of the day is free.

Day 2. Paro sightseeing. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Paro. The day begins with a visit to the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, a fortress used to repel Tibetan invasions in the 17th century, Paro Dzong (Dzong means fortress), the administrative centre for the valley of Paro and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most scared shrines of Bhutan dating back to the 7th century.

You will also visit a local farmhouse (entrance to the house dependent upon the family's availability.)(Some sites may be closed due to unforeseen events and could be substituted for other venues.). Balance of the day is at your leisure for additional sightseeing, shopping or strolling around Paro. BLD*

Day 3. Depart Paro. Stay longer in Paro or venture off to see more of Bhutan. B

Take an early morning flight seeing experience along the peaks of the Himalayas including Mount Everest.
