DAY 1: USA or Canada/Hong Kong Board your overnight flight to Hong Kong.
DAY 2: Hong Kong Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to your hotel. Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong
DAY 3: Hong Kong Begin your day at the busy Sheung Wan Market. Then take a tram ride to Victoria Peak for spectacular views, and visit the floating fishing community in Aberdeen on a motorized sampan cruise. After a traditional dim sum lunch at the Aberdeen Marina Club, your afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, join your fellow travellers over cocktails and a welcome dinner. DAY 4: Hong Kong/Hanoi, Vietnam

DAY 5: Hanoi Today's sightseeing reflects the cultural link between China and Vietnam. Visit Ho Chi Minh's house, the Temple of Literature, the One Pillared Pagoda, Quanh Tanh Temple and the city's Fine Arts Museum. Hotel Sofitel Metropole B L D
DAY 6: Hanoi/Ha Long Bay/Hanoi Weather permitting, fly by helicopter to scenic Ha Long, the "Bay of the Descending Dragon," a beautiful region of emerald seas, lush forested islands, pristine beaches and rugged limestone hills. DAY 7: Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City Fly this morning to the largest and most vibrant city in Vietnam, known to the world as Saigon. Visit the 19th-century Thien Hau Pagoda and Cholon's colorful Chinatown. DAY 8: Ho Chi Minh City Visit the tunnel network at Cu Chi, one of the most notorious battlefields of the Vietnam War. Sightseeing today includes visits to the Botataung Pagoda, the Sule Pagoda, the Reclining Buddha, the Gems Museum and the National Museum. End the day with a breathtaking view of Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. The Strand B L D
DAY 13: Yangon/Bagan/Yangon A very early morning flight brings you to Bagan, the 11th-century capital of the country and one of Asia's most extraordinary travel experiences. Its flat plain is dotted with the remains of 2,000 pagodas, temples and stupas (memorials commemorating Buddha or a Buddhist saint). Visit the Nyaung Oo local market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and the Kubyaukgyi Temple in the little village of Wetkyi-In. After lunch, stops include the Htilominlo Temple and a local lacquerware workshop. Then travel by horse cart to Ananda Temple, built in 1090 AD and the best preserved temple in Bagan. An evening flight returns you to Yangon. The Strand B L D

DAYS 15-16: Chiang Mai Spend two days exploring the sights and sounds of Chiang Mai. Spend one afternoon walking through a Palaung hilltribe village and the other with a private mahout and his elephant, learning how these gentle giants paint on canvas.
