DAY 13: Yangon/Bagan/Yangon
A very early morning flight brings you to Bagan, the 11th-century capital of the country and one of Asia's most extraordinary travel experiences. Its flat plain is dotted with the remains of 2,000 pagodas, temples and stupas (memorials commemorating Buddha or a Buddhist saint). Visit the Nyaung Oo local market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and the Kubyaukgyi Temple in the little village of Wetkyi-In. After lunch, stops include the Htilominlo Temple and a local lacquerware workshop.
