Day 1 - Depart home

Fly to Shanghai. Cross the International Date Line.
 
Day 2 - Shanghai

Check in to hotel. Join your fellow travellers at a welcome reception and dinner.

Day 3-5 - Shanghai

Tour of Urban Planning Museum, Former French Concession, The Bund, and Shanghai Museum. Boat cruise to canal town of Zhujiajiao. Tour of Shanghai’s leading galleries and artists’ studios.

Day 6 - Guilin

Visit the bustling Ximen Farmer’s Market and the Ming pagoda at Elephant Trunk Hill. Tour the mystical Reed Flute Cave.

Day 7-8 - Guilin

Cruise the Li River to explore Yangshuo’s local markets. Time at leisure.

Fly to Chongqing, transfer to pier to embark yangtze Explore. Cruise the emerald waters of the Yangtze River. Visit the red wooden pavilion at Shibaozhai and the Three Gorges Dam. Relax on deck, and take in the spectacular scenery.

Day 11-12 - Xi'an

Explore the excavation site of the Terra Cotta Armies. Visit the Bronze Chariot Museum, the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, the great Mosque, and the old city quarter.

Day 13 - Beijing

Visit the majestic Great Goose Pagoda, Southern Gate of the City Wall, and the Yangling Museum before flying to Beijing in time for dinner.

Day 14-15 - Beijing
