Itinerary

Day 1:  Arrive Guilin
Arrive in Guilin, China’s great scenic city on Li River.  Check into your riverfront hotel.  Then, enjoy a tour of the city and Reed Flute Cave, with its unusual lantern-lit formations.  Take in the Longji Minority Dance Show, a new cultural show with a local traditional agriculture background. Day 2:  Guilin / Li River / Yangshuo
Cruise Li River through scenery infused with folk tales and legends.  Float past valleys, bamboo groves, limestone pinnacles and ancient rock formations.  Disembark in Yangshuo and head out on a bicycle tour of this charming town.  Pedal leisurely to Moon Hill, where you stop at a local farm for tea and a chat with the farmer.  Yangshuo Paradise Hotel  (B,L)

Day 3:  Yangshuo / Longsheng / Guilin 
Depart for Longsheng for a tour of dramatic landscapes, including rice terraces such as the immense Dragon's Backbone.   Local communities have grown rice on these hillsides for centuries using a simple yet efficient terracing and watering system.  This area maintains a large number of Chinese ethnic minorities such as Miao, Zhuang, Yao and Dong, who preserve many traditional ways of life. Travel to Guilin and check into your hotel. Daewoo Hotel (B)

Day 4:  Guilin / Depart
Transfer to airport for your onward destination. (B)
