Day 1. Arrive Beijing. Welcome to China's capital (once called Peking). You will be met by our representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. Remainder of day is at leisure.

Days 2-7. In Beijing. During your time in Beijing, you can take the following sightseeing tours on the days of your choice:

Day Tour 1:
Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world and the Forbidden City, whose acres of splendid 15th Century halls and pavilions graced with imperial treasures now comprise the Palace Museum. You also visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, possibly the most popular symbol of China. This afternoon, enjoy the Summer Palace, a complex of pavilions, temples and galleries situated on an immense man-made lake. BL

Day Tour 2:
A day you won't forget! Your full day tour includes The Great Wall of China, one of the world's architectural marvels. Also, visit the Ming Tombs, a total of 13 Imperial tombs from the Ming dynasty. BL

Optional day tour to Xian

During your stay in Beijing, why not take the opportunity to visit the ancient capital, Xian. Fly to Xian and back the same day. During your time there, you will visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and also have a short city tour.
