Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Shanghai. This morning you will fly to Shanghai, the largest city in China. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Known as "the Oriental Paris", Shanghai is a shopper's paradise. One of the musts is Nanjing Road. Huaihai Road intrigues those with modern and fashionable tastes, while Sichuan North Road meets the demands of ordinary folk. In addition, Xujiahui Shopping Center, Yuyuan Shopping City, Jiali Sleepless City are thriving and popular destinations for those who are seeking to buy something special as a memento of their visit. Day 2. Shanghai. Shanghai sightseeing today includes bustling Nanjing Road and the legendary Bund, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the elegant Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden is a famous classical . The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age Tonight, you will be in for a special treat to the world famous Chinese Acrobatic Show. Day 3. Shanghai / Suzhou. This morning the tour in Shanghai includes a visit to the French Concession, Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a birds eye view of Shanghai and then, the Jade Buddha Temple. In 1882, an old temple was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. The temple was destroyed during the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty. Fortunately the jade Buddha statues were saved and a new temple was built on the present site in 1928. It was named the Jade Buddha Temple. Late afternoon, leave Shanghai for Suzhou. Check-in to your hotel. BLD
Day 4. Suzhou. Suzhou is an ancient city with 2500 years' history. The unique characteristics of the past are still retained in present-day Suzhou. Visit the various attractions of "The Venice of the East" including the Golden Rooster Lakeside and the New Developing Zoon. Then visit the Classical Garden of Master Fishing Net and the Silk Embroidery Institute. Later move on to the Garden of Lion Rock Forest, the Ancient Water City Gate & cruise along the picturesque ancient Grand Canal. BLD
Day 5. Suzhou / Hangzhou. Leave Suzhou for Hangzhou and check into your hotel. With its famous natural beauty and cultural heritages, Hangzhou is one of China's most important tourist venuesThis afternoon take a cruise aboard a small sampan on West Lake to the Yanggong Causey. Then, visit Garden of Guo Zhuang Villa by the lakeside and have a tea break. The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned feature of Hangzhou, noted for the scenic beauty that blends naturally with many famous historical and cultural sites BLD
Day 6. Hangzhou. Visit the Ancient Ink & Calligraphy Society and enjoy a magnificent view of the lake again on Isolated Hill. Then visit Qinghefang Ancient Street to a Chinese Herb Medicine Museum and Store and an ancient rich mans large Garden House - the Hu Xueyan Mansion. The balance of the day is at leisure. BLD
Day 7. Hangzhou / Wuzhen. This morning you will drive deep into a green forest valley to the Dragon Well Tea Plantation for a visit. Then continue along the Fuchuan River to the Pagoda of Six Harmony. After a visit, drive to Wuzhen-one of the best reserved water-town by the ancient Grand Canal. Chinese people say that unless you visit the Great Wall then you haven't been to China. For any visit south of the Yangtze River; one place not to be missed is the town of Wuzhen. Here you will take a boat to the deluxe Wuzhen Waterside Hotel in the mid of water-town. You have free time in the afternoon after lunch for own exploration. Day 8. Wuzhen / Shanghai. Explore Wuzhen on your own in the morning. Plan to visit the Traditional Workshops District, Traditional Local-Styled Dwelling Houses District, Traditional Culture District, Traditional Food and Beverage District, Traditional Shops and Stores District, and Water Township Customs and Life District. Wandering along the east-west-east circuit created by these six districts, you will enjoy the atmosphere of the traditional cultures and the original ancient features of the town that have been preserved intact. In the afternoon you will drive back to Shanghai and check-in to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day for some more shopping on Nanjing Road, take a river cruise on the Hung Pu River or enjoy a relaxing walk along the Bund. BL
Day 9. Shanghai. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. B
