Day 1. Shanghai. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Known as "the Oriental Paris", Shanghai is a shopper's paradise. One of the musts is Nanjing Road. Huaihai Road intrigues those with modern and fashionable tastes, while Sichuan North Road meets the demands of ordinary folk. B

Day 2. Shanghai. Shanghai sightseeing today includes bustling Nanjing Road and the legendary Bund, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the elegant Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden is a famous classical . The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age Tonight, you will be in for a special treat to the world famous Chinese Acrobatic Show. Day 3. Shanghai / Kunming. This morning , transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Kunming and check in to your hotel. Kunming enjoys a pleasant climate and does its best to live up to its title of "the City of Eternal Spring" . This afternoon, you will embark on a tour to the Stone Forest & Jade Lake. Its alluring highland scenery, bewitching karst landform, varied and exotic habitats and customs and places of historical interest can be found at the Stone Forest. BLD

Day 4. Kunming / Lijang. Take a morning flight to Lijiang-Shangri-La, the fairyland of minority areas described in a book "Lost Horizon". The whole city is an ancient feature and rewarded by UNICON as the city of cultural heritage. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. The afternoon tour comprises visits to the Black Dragon Pond, the Dongba Museum and the James Luck House; who was a famous American historian & explorer. He stayed here for over 18 years. Remainder of the day is free for your own exploration in this beautiful, ancient town. Tonight, enjoy ancient Dongba Naxi Ancient Music. BLD

Day 5. Lijang. Today combines a busy day of amazing sites. You will have excursions to the Jade Peak Temple, the Baisha Minority Village & Ancient Wall Paintings. Take a spectacular ride to Jade Dragon Snow Caped Mountain by cable car to view the grasslands and forests next to the snow and glacier line, Whgile here, enjoy a Tibetan Dance Performance.. The Jade Dragon Snow Mt. is one of h worlds 10th most famous snow mountain and the only one that man has not yet climbed to the top of. Everyone will respect its holy and interesting features while standing here. Return to Lijang and the remainder of the day is available for your own exploration. BL

Day 6. Lijang/ Zhongdian (Shangri-La). This morning, leave Lijiang for Zhongdian-The Lost Horizon along the ancient Tea & House Trade Track. It is a beautiful 230KM drive via Tiger Jump Gorges. In the afternoon, visit Tibeten Villages and their homes then visit Napa Lake, a natural, beautiful moorland lake beside snow-caped mountains blooming with thousands of fragrant flowers. The balance of the day is at leisure. BLD

Day 7. In Shangri-La. Today you will visit the Songzhanlin Monastery, Zhongdian Ancient Town and the Regional History Museum. Once again, the beautiful "Shangri-la" described in "The Lost Horizon" is, in fact, the city of Zhongdian, located in the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. Even today, Zhongdian County remains an untainted natural paradise. BLD

Day 8. Shangri-La Zhongdian / Guilin. This morning, your flight leaves for Guilin via Kunming. Transfer to hotel your hotel and the balance of the day can be used to explore Guilin. The stunning landscape in which the city is situated has a kind of magic that is all its own. The strangely shaped hills, or karsts, with the verdant vegetation ranging from bamboo to conifers together with wonderful caves make Guilin such an attraction for tourists. BLD

Day 9. Guilin. Full day cruise on the Li River. Cruise through one of the most mystical landscapes in the world. The Li River meanders through steep hills and green fields and offers spectacular views of the limestone landscape. Disembark at the unique village of Yangshuo, before returning to Guilin. BLD

Day 10. Guilin / Shanghai. Early morning transfer to the aiport for your flight back to Shanghai. The balance of the day is at leisure to visit or shop for anything you missed. B

Day 11. Shanghai. Depart and transfer to Pudong airport for your homeward flight.
