This tour combines the imperial capital of Delhi with the Mughal splendors of Agra and the highlights of the former princely state of Rajasthan. Traveling through one of India’s most spectacular regions, discover the traditions, culture, architecture and history of this former princely state.

Day 1

Late evening arrival into Delhi. You will be met upon your arrival and transferred to your hotel, The Lalit.

Day 2

Tour the historic sights of Old Delhi, including the Red Fort, and Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, The Lalit.

Day 3

Board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra, home of the incomparable Taj Mahal. After check-in at your hotel, embark on your exploration of Agra and the famed Taj Mahal, Trident Hotel.

Day 4

Drive to the royal city of Jaipur. En route, visit the deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri. Stay at the former residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, recently restored to its former elegance and grandeur, Trident Hotel.

Day 5

In the morning ride on stately elephants to Amber Fort. En route, you will see the Palace of Winds. Following lunch at a local restaurant visit the vast City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Astronomical Observatory, Trident Hotel.

Day 6

Drive to Udaipur. Visit to the vast City Palace and the Crystal Gallery, filled with furnishings hand carved from crystal. Walk through the old narrow streets of the spice and silver markets, Trident Hotel.

Day 7

Day trip to visit the Jain Temples at Ranakpur, the most impressive in all of India. Lunch at a recently restored haveli, Trident Hotel.

Day 8

Fly to Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by a our representative and transferred to your hotel, The Lalit.

Day 9

Tour New Delhi. See India Gate and pass by the Presidential Palace. Visit Humayun's Tomb and the Qutab Minar. You will have lunch at a local restaurant, The Lalit.

Day 10

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the international airport for your flight onward.
