Day 1. Depart North America. Fly from your home city to either Toronto, New York or Los Angeles and connect to your International flight to Delhi.

Day 2. Arrive Delhi. You will be met and transferred to your hotel by Our representative. India's capital, Delhi, blends the old and the new providing an interesting combination.

Day 3. Delhi Sightseeing. After a late breakfast, you will enjoy a combined full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. This will include the Red Fort, Gandhi's cremation site (Raj Ghat), the Jama Masjid Mosque, Humayan's Tomb, India Gate, the President's House, the Parliament Building and the Qutub Minar Tower. BD

Day 4. Delhi to Varanasi. Fly to India's holiest city where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, drive to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city. BD

Day 5. In Varanasi. Take an early morning boat ride on the holy River Ganges to see the extraordinary early morning activities taking place. Thousands of faithful come daily to the banks and bathe and pray, while in the background temples and palaces rise in tiers from the waters edge. This is an experience! Later, visit the Bharat Mata Temple. BD

Day 6. Varanasi to Khajuraho. Fly to Khajuraho, famous for its superb sculptures depicting aspects of Indian life over the centuries. In the afternoon you will visit the temples of Khajuraho and its architecture is witness to the Chandila Dynasty. BD

Day 7. Khajuraho to Agra. Travel by road to Jhansi (4 hours) where you will be put on the Shatabdi Express for Agra (2.5 hours). On arrival in Agra, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight BD

Day 8. Agra. Agra is the home of the fabled Taj Mahal. Wonder at the marvel of this marble monument to love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife. Also visit Agra Fort which was built by Akbar the Great. BD

Day 9. Agra to Samode. This morning, leave Agra and first visit en route to Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, the Ghost City built in 1569. It is completely deserted and left in solitude a reminder of older times. Travel from here to Samode and check in to Samode Bagh a famous, tented Heritage Hotel. Overnight in Samode. BD

Day 10. Samode to Jaipur. In the morning, visit the Amer Palace with its magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and also ride an Elephant. In the afternoon, you will have a tour of the city including Stone Observatory and the City Palace. Known as the Pink City due to the colour of the stone used in its buildings, Jaipur has a timeless quality reflected in its bazaars and thoroughfares. Take time to enjoy the sights and sounds while shopping along the main streets of Jaipur. BD

Day 11. Jaipur to Udaipur. Fly to Udaipur, the city of lakes. With its fairy-tale palaces, attractive lakes and gardens, Udaipur, is a wonderful experience. Today visit the City Palace, the Jagdish Temple and Gulab Nivas Garden BD

Day 12. In Udaipur. Enjoy today an excursion to the Eklingji Temple with its four mouthed black idol and the Nagada Temple dating back to the 8th Century. In the evening, you will have a cruise on the beautiful Lake Pichola. BD

Day 13. Udaipur to Mumbai (Bombay). Fly to Bombay, India's most Cosmopolitan City and most important commercial centre. In the afternoon, you will have a city tour visiting the Mani Bhawan (Gandhi's home), the Gateway of India, Juhu Beach and the Dhobi Ghats. BD

Day 14. Mumbai (Bombay). This morning visit the Elephanta Caves with their carvings dating back to 600 AD BD

Day 15. Mumbai (Bombay) to North America. Depart from this engaging land with many memories arriving in North America the same day to connect to your flight to your home city. B
