Java, Bali, Flores, Komodo Islands, and Lombok

This three-week tour includes a broad range of Indonesia’s diverse offerings. Begin in the capital city of Jakarta for a visit to the National Museum and some introductory touring before continuing to Yogyakarta for a tour of this city of artisans and the nearby temple complexes of Borobudor and Prambanan. From Yogyakarta, travel to Eastern Java for your climb up Mt. Bromo before continuing to Bali to spend two nights at the luxurious Legian beach resort. Next, visit Flores, where the snorkeling at Maumere is unparalleled and a visit to Kelimutu will showcase one of Indonesia’s most spectacular natural wonders -- the three multicolored lakes. From Flores, spend another night in Bali before heading to Bima, east Sumbawa, the launch point for your boat trip to the famous island of Komodo, home of the legendary Komodo dragon. The final destination is Lombok, where you will explore Sasak villages and enjoy some snorkeling in the Gili Islands before returning to Bali for relaxation and touring of the artistic heartland of the island.
Like all of our tours, this is simply a suggested itinerary, and can easily be customized to suit your schedule, budget, and interests.
