Facilities  The Beach Club:This is located on the beachfront of the Bali Golf and Country Club. The Club consists of nine bales, each with two sun loungers. The Beach Club is also the setting for candlelit barbecues, and sunrise breakfasts can be enjoyed in the privacy of the bales. Boutique and Gallery: Balinese and Indonesian craft and antiques as well as other gift items are available. Tennis: Amanusa's two, all-weather tennis courts are floodlit for evening play. Attendants are available as playing partners or ball boys. A bale is located between the courts for shady breaks of iced chrysanthemum tea and refreshments. Massage and Beauty Treatments: Amanusa's resident masseuses mix traditional Balinese massage with Swedish massage and acupressure. Massage is available in the privacy of your suite, in the specially-designated massage suite or on one of the Beach bales. Meetings and Special Events: The resort has meeting facilities for up to 30 people and is a special venue for occasions like weddings, birthdays and family reunions. The Nirwana Bali Golf Club, an hour's drive from Amanusa, is located in the Tabanan Regency, on the island's west coast. Former British Open champion Greg Norman designed this championship course. Offering one of Asia's most visually arresting settings, the Nirwana Bali Golf Club plays through rice paddies, tropical forest, gardens and creeks. The Bali Handara Country Club. Acclaimed as one of the world's most beautiful golf courses the club is an hour-and-a-half from Amanusa. Designed by Peter Thomson and Graham Wolveridge, the course is set in an extinct volcano. The championship course's 18 holes lie amid lush green mountain slopes and rainforest. Cycling and Touring Nusa Dua is ideal for relaxed cycling tours on an Amanusa bicycle. Village and mountain cycling excursions can also be arranged for the more adventurous. A visit to the ancient Luhur Uluwatu temple, an easy drive from Amanusa, is among the resort's many popular excursions. One of Bali's sad kahyangan – the six temples of the heavens – Luhur Uluwatu is perched high above the sea on an enormous limestone outcropping. Amanusa drivers and guides are available to escort guests on these and other personalised tours. Island Crusing Just 20km offshore and visible from Amanusa, are the islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. There are a variety of craft, including a luxury catamaran that can be chartered to visit Nusa Lembongan, which is the more secluded of the two islands. This full-day excursion might include a lunchtime barbecue, exploration of the beach and beach volleyball. Next, the cooking class takes a detour through the Jenggala glass and ceramic factory and then to see some coffee being roasted.
