11 Days Laos: Jewel of Indochina Tour Package
Duration: 11 Days / 10 Nights Priced From: $4235 pp Dbl. Occ. Dates: Jan - Dec
Long isolated from outside influences, the people of Laos still practice a traditional Southeast Asian way of life. Evidence of their devoutly Buddhist culture is everywhere as are the remains of civilizations past. Richly decorated temples, stupas, intricately carved monasteries and striking palaces seem more populous than people in this former French colony. The gently mountainous country, transected by the great Mekong River, contributes to the sense of tranquility and timelessness that is yet the Laos of today.
