Day 1:  Arrive Langkawi Island, Malaysia

You are greeted at the airport, and begin a tour of the lush island, part of the Langkawi archipelago. Learn about the legends and gain a sense of village life here.  Visit historical sites such as the Mausoleum of the Martyred Princess, who before being executed, cursed Langkawi for seven generations, and 'Galeri Perdana', a museum which houses  souvenirs belonging to Prime Minister, Dato Sri Dr Mahathir. Visit Langkawi Crystal show room and Atma Alam, a handicraft and batik studio.  See Dataran Lang,  'Eagle Square,' with its large brown and white marble eagle sculpture. You can opt to visit Kuah Town, the capital of Langkawi, for some shopping on your own. Check into you resort after tour. This afternoon, enjoy a sunset dinner cruise to the Andaman Sea, which offer views  of some of the other islands that made up the archipelago. You may see flying fish, eagles and dolphins. Day 2 Langkawi Island

After an early breakfast, venture out on the water for some island hopping. Your first stop is a bay on a mangrove river, where boatmen come to feed eagles such as white belly sea eagles. After this, the boat slips up river, where you easily spot hundreds of fruit bats hanging up side down from the tree branches. Along the water’s edge, crabs, mudskippers, a wide variety of birds and marine life thrive in this relatively uninhabited land. On Dangli Island, visit a fish farm for a closer look at local marine species such as moray eels, horse show crab,  mantis prawns, stingrays, sea bass and ornamental fish. This afternoon, you enjoy a picnic lunch and swimming at a stunning, isolated beach. After lunch, tour Crocodile Cave, which is home to hundreds of bats. At low tide, bats can pass through the cave. Your last stop is at Charcoal Kiln, a cottage industry set up by the locals.  This evening relax at your resort. Tanjung Rhu Resort (B,L)

Day 3:  Langkawi / Depart

You have some free time until you transfer  to the airport for you onward destination. (B)
