This tour takes you from the rice terraces that cascade down the northern mountains to the tropical hideaway of an idyllic island resort – with many stops in between! The journey begins in Manila, where you will be introduced to the country's Spanish and Catholic heritage. From Manila, drive to Banaue, home to the Ifugao tribe and the site of the magnificent Banaue Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Spend two nights here before traveling to the cavernous burial grounds in Sagada, a small town nestled among limestone pinnacles, pine forests, and waterfalls. The next stop is the summer capital of Baguio, a popular and cool mountain city. Fly back to Manila for a night and then take a charter flight to a tropical Palawan resort for two unforgettable nights. White sand beaches line the lagoons of Palawan and lush tropical forests populate the interior, making it a perfect note on which to conclude the trip.
