Start in Adelaide, where you will sip some vintages in the Barossa Valley wine region and then see the city’s lovely parks and memorable architecture. From Adelaide, fly to Kangaroo Island for three nights at the ultra-luxurious Southern Ocean Lodge. A personalized experience of this “zoo without fences” awaits guests of the lodge: an itinerary of guided excursions is designed daily and often includes exclusive access to otherwise off-limits areas. From there, spend a night in a Platinum Service Cabin of the Ghan Train as you head to Alice Springs; enjoy a quick introduction to this pioneer town located smack dab in the middle of the country before heading to Bamurru Plains, an exclusive new resort near Kakadu National Park. Spend two full days spotting dingos, wallaroos, crocodiles and wild pigs from your base at Bamurru Plains. The adventure concludes in Sydney with two nights at the elegant Park Hyatt; take a morning yacht cruise on the sparkling harbor and then spend an afternoon at leisure enjoying this magnificently beautiful port city.
