From Hamilton Island there are daily trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach. On the Island there are over 40 activities including watersports, sporting facilities, Koala Gallery, golf driving range and mini-golf. There are also seven pools, 10 restaurants, 6 bars and many take-away outlets. The marina has 205 berths, as well sailing charter companies and a dive shop.

Day 1: Arrive Hamilton Island and transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing by one of the seven pools or shopping at the 20 boutiques and specialty stores. If you are feeling energetic enjoy a game of tennis followed by a sunset walk along the beach. You can watch the sun set from your private balcony whilst enjoying champagne and chocolates and then stroll down to the Marina Village to enjoy dinner at one of Hamilton Island's 10 restaurants. We recommend Romano's Restaurant with traditional Italian fare.

Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy a full day trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Fantasea Cruises. Snorkel and swim at one of the seven wonders of the world, take a tour in the semi-submersible coral viewer that moves along the reef wall and watch the colourful schools of fish glide by from the underwater observatory. Aerial views of the Reef are spectacular, so the 10-minute joy flight over Heart Reef is a must. For dinner on Hamilton Island, perhaps try a pizza at Manta Ray.

Day 3: After breakfast, the day is yours to do as you please. We suggest a full day sail to the spectacular Whitehaven Beach. Finish the day with a relaxing sunset sea kayaking tour. You might even be lucky to see a turtle, dolphins or even a whale (whale season July - September). If you feel like a casual dinner - the Yacht Club or Toucan Tango Caf will be perfect.

Day 4: Enjoy a leisure breakfast. If you have the time and energy, take an early morning bushwalk to Passage Peak. The top of the peak offers amazing 360degree view of the Whitsundays. Your last chance to savour the beauty of the Whitsundays before departing Hamilton Island for your onward flight.
