Day 1: Depart USA Depart today aboard your flight down under to Melbourne, Australia.

Day 3: Arrive Melbourne, Australia Arrive in Melbourne early this morning, where a you'r representative welcomes you and takes you to your hotel in a private deluxe sedan/limo. Later, you discover historic Melbourne on foot with your guide. Culminate your tour at Rialto Tower, Melbourne’s most recognized landmark, with its expansive views from an observation deck. Tonight, you have an opportunity for a unique dining experience – a rolling restaurant. Enjoy a delightful five-course meal as the converted air-conditioned 1927 tram cruises the streets. Day 4: Melbourne / Phillip Island / Melbourne - The morning is at leisure. For your convenience, you have a one-day tram pass allowing you explore Melbourne on your own. This afternoon, you head out for Phillip Island, where every evening at dusk, penguins come home from the sea to the island, waddling past you on the way to their burrows for the night. Day 6: Adelaide / Kangaroo Island / Adelaide This morning, drive to scenic Cape Jervis to board a boat to Kangaroo Island, where you see a breeding colony of sea lions at Seal Bay. Flinders Chase National Park is a sanctuary for indigenous animals such as kangaroo, wallaby, koala and more. Day 7: Adelaide / Alice Springs Fly to Alice Springs, the heart of the Outback. This afternoon, saddle up for an unusual safari – on camel back. Day 8: Alice Springs / Ayers Rock Travel south through mountains and ruggedly handsome country. Visit a camel farm. Witness the remarkable Olagas rise out of the red desert floor as you approach. A naturalist guide explains the nature of this dramatic land. A dune lookout offers delicious panoramas of the Olgas, a sacred place to the Aboriginals. Day 9: Ayers Rock (Uluru) Rise early this morning to share an almost theatrical sunrise at Ayers Rock, known to Aboriginal people as Uluru. Day 11: Cairns / Kuranda / Cairns Embark on a train journey through hand-hewn tunnels and across bridges with stunning views. Explore the village and its markets. Or, choose an optional visit to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary or colorful Birdworld. Then, board Skyrail for a spellbinding rainforest experience as you glide above the rainforest canopy.
