What to Expect: Set on the west bank of the city, close to Prague Castle, The Charles Bridge, and the Old Town, The Augustine is recognized as one of the most notable restoration projects in Prague. The hotel was created from seven buildings dating from the 13th century. The shared cloistered terraces and vaults of the adjoining St Thomas Monastery have been carefully preserved to reflect the history of the building.

Deluxe Suite Castle View - This suite is composed of a separate bedroom a living room, featuring on average 77 sq m/ 828 sq ft. This room have been designed by The Rocco Forte Collection's Design Director, Olga Polizzi, in co-operation with the RDD Design Company in a contemporary, comfortable style with stylish elements reflecting the centuries of the monastery's history.

Grand Suite - The Grand suite has 4 poster bed and offers 117 sq m/1260 sq ft. of simple luxury. This suite is composed of a separate bedroom, dining room, living room and dressing room and is decorated with contemporary furnishings and fabrics with traditional features reflecting the tranquility of the neighborhood. In addition to views of the monasteries' courtyards, it features living flame fireplace.

The Monastery Restaurant
The Monastery restaurant is one of the only newly constructed spaces in The Augustine complex. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling glass walls allowing for natural daylight, and is built around two protected trees. Its summer terrace is nestled by a third mature tree, with an enclosed seating area ideal for a private business lunch, or leisurely meal. The restaurant serves a casual menu inspired by European-brasserie, extended breakfast is served on weekends, catering to late risers or early ‘brunchers’.

Tom’s Bar
Tom’s Bar, which shares Tom’s Arcade (a vaulted sandstone portico) with The Monastery restaurant, is housed in a former Augustinian beer hall complete with original ‘Four Angels’ fresco on the ceiling and wrought iron chandeliers. The venue serves light fare throughout the day including coffee, signature juice and croissant in the morning, or a snack or light meal in the afternoon and evening. Guests can can lounge and relax over a newspaper or book or enjoy live music and cocktails in the evening.

The Brewery Bar
This subterranean cellar bar was originally the monastery’s brewery offering subdued lighting and attractive brick-work, which is accented by stalagmites ‘organically’ growing from the floor. This motif mirrors the unique facade-work of the adjacent ‘Weeping Wall’ in the Wallenstein Gardens.Guests enjoy The Brewery Bar's very own St. Thomas’ beer.
