DAY 3: Moscow
A full day of sightseeing includes Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral, Novodevichy Convent and the Tretyakov Gallery, housing the most important collection of Russian art in the world. Ritz-Carlton Moscow/Ararat Park Hyatt B
DAY 4: Moscow/Sergiev Posad (Zagorsk)/Moscow Drive into the countryside to Sergiev Posad to visit the Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius, an ancient center of the Russian Orthodox Church. Ritz-Carlton Moscow/Ararat Park Hyatt B
DAY 5: Moscow/St. Petersburg Visit two of the Kremlin's cathedrals, State Armory and Diamond Fund. This afternoon choose to visit the Kuskovo Estate or the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. Late check out is guaranteed before your overnight train journey to St. Petersburg. Grand Express Train B
DAY 6: St. Petersburg Arrive in St. Petersburg for a morning at leisure. This afternoon visit the Hermitage Museum and its extensive collection of artwork. Grand Hotel Europe/Hotel Astoria B
DAY 7: St. Petersburg Sightseeing includes the Peter and Paul Fortress, St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Yusupov Palace. Grand Hotel Europe/Hotel Astoria B
DAY 8: St. Petersburg/Petrodvorets/St. Petersburg Travel to Petrodvorets, the great summer palace of Peter the Great. Its Grand Cascade, a sequence of sculptures, fountains and water jets, is one of the largest fountain ensembles in the world. This afternoon return to St. Petersburg and visit the Russian Museum. DAY 9: St. Petersburg/Pushkin/St. Petersburg
