A short walk from the Corviglia cogwheel train, this large white-painted building looks oddly futuristic compared to the 19th-century structures around it. The interior combines comfortable alpine rusticity of knotty-pine Engadine-style cabinets and ceiling beams with wall-to-wall carpeting and informal furniture. All the midsize bedrooms are accented with either Swiss pine or walnut paneling. A cavernous 350 sq. m (3,767-sq.-ft.) fitness centre was added in the basement of the hotel. The lobby and some of the rooms have also been enlarged, although the rustic alpine decor is still intact. Hotel Sheraton
Adjacent to the magnificent Mirabell Garden and directly connected to the Salzburg Congress Centre, the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel offers comfortable surroundings and friendly service. Jog or walk along the scenic river Salzach nearby, stretch out at the fitness facility, or relax in the sauna. Come together and share the day’s adventure over dinner at one of the three restaurants. Relax in the privacy of your own guest room. Or make it a leisurely night by ordering dinner in. With our central location, The Sheraton Salzburg Hotel is a great venue for congresses, meetings, presentations, and events.
