Aachen is famous for the Aachener Printe – a kind of gingerbread widely known throughout Germany. It can be enjoyed at any time of year either as a classic spiced Printe, or topped with icing, chocolate or flaked almonds.

It has a large collection of Printe tins and is a fine place to sample this Aachen speciality. Also recommended are the rice pancakes and the regularly changing lunchtime specials.
