Hamburg Trade fairs/exhibitions Every year Hamburg Exhibition Centre attracts up to 10,000 exhibitors and more than 1 million visitors from around the world. Its 40 trade fairs, exhibitions and other events are primarily centred on the maritime industry, renewable energy, aviation, food and drink and the hotel sector. They include trade fairs such as SMM, hanseboot boat show, INTERNORGA, WindEnergy, H2Expo and the tourism exhibition REISEN HAMBURG.SMM SMM is the international Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine technology trade fair. The leading marine industry trade fair, it brings together decision makers from all ship-building countries. Every September 42,000 ship owners, managers, engineers and technicians from 48 countries gather together to the see the 1,400 exhibition stands on shipbuilding, marine technology and harbour installations. Du und Deine Welt (you and your world) Every year at the end of August Hamburg hosts the consumer exhibition Du und Deine Welt (you and your world), where goods and services from a variety of sectors are showcased, such as construction, health, gardening, leisure, communication, food and drink and lots more besides. On average more than 160,000 visitors and over 900 exhibitors take part every year. hanseboot boat show Held annually in October the hanseboat boat show is all about boats, boating equipment and accessories, surf gear, charter services and fishing and diving products. Across a total area of 75,000m² almost 900 exhibitors present their goods and services over nine days to 130,000 trade visitors and private individuals. |
