Stuttgart Trade fairs/exhibitions Stuttgart Exhibition Centre is the showroom for Baden-Württemberg's heavily export-oriented economy. Every year it hosts more than 30 of its own trade fairs and exhibitions, including several prestigious international fairs. It is also the setting for around 20 guest events. The main themes include lifestyle and leisure, industry and technology, and business and education. AMB AMB, the International Exhibition for Metal Working, is consistently booked-up two years in advance. This trade fair for the mechanical engineering industry takes place every two years and attracts more than 800 exhibitors from almost 20 countries, and around 50,000 visitors. The exhibition runs for five days and is only open to trade visitors. R + T R +T, the international trade fair for roller shutters, sun protection, doors and gates is an international high-tech trade fair for the capital goods industry. It is held every three years in February and is open to trade visitors only, bringing together more than 500 exhibitors and almost 50,000 visitors, 50% of whom are from outside Germany. Intervitis Interfructa Intervitis Interfructa is held every three years in May in conjunction with the German Wine Growers' Association and is widely regarded as the leading trade fair for wine and fruit juice production. This international technology fair for the wine, fruit and fruit juice industries attracts almost 40,000 trade visitors to the stands of around 600 exhibitors. |
