Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel, Reykjavik, Iceland Vacations, Honeymoons and Luxury Travel Packages  The Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel is a uniquely designed 4 star lifestyle hotel in the heart of Reykjavik, which offers outstanding service to both business and leisure travellers. Built for office use in the year 1919 by the first shipping company in Iceland, "Eimskipafélag Íslands", the building in which our hotel is housed is one of the most beautiful historical buildings in Reykjavik.
Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel Accommodations Comfortable and well-furnished, we offer 88 studio concept rooms and suites which come equipped with all the modern amenities you would expect of a four-star property. Every room type includes a minibar, in-room safe, free high speed Internet access and a direct line to our One Touch Service where the staff will assist you with any hotel need you may have. As a guest in our hotel, you will have complimentary access to the on-site Fitness centre and Business centre. Amenities and special requests are subject to availability and room category reserved. We have specially equipped rooms with disabled facilities, which are available upon request.  Standard RoomOffering all the essentials for a pleasant and comfortable stay, our Standard rooms are well furnished and contemporary in design and come with queen size beds and shower. It is possible to request a standard room with bath (subject to availability). It is not possible to book an extra bed nor twin bed in the standard room category upon request. Approximate size: 16-25 m²  Deluxe RoomDesigned to offer an extra touch of comfort, our Deluxe rooms include upgraded amenities such as bathrobes, slippers and an ironing board. Twin beds and an extra bed are available in this room category. Approximate size: 24-35 m²  Junior SuiteWith its high ceilings and spacious loft-style feel, our Junior suite are housed in the upper floors of the hotel. Some of the Junior suite amenities include a Nespresso machine, free pay TV and exclusive bathroom amenities. Twin beds and an extra bed are available in this room category upon request. Approximate size 35-40 m²  SuiteThe 2 top floor Suites in our hotel are uniquely designed for those looking for an extra bit of luxury. Both feature high slanted ceilings, skylights, an open sitting and dining area and a Jacuzzi bath. As in the Junior Suites, the Suites include a Nespresso machine, free pay TV and exclusive bathroom amenities. An extra bed is available in this category upon request. Approximate size 50 m²
Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel Dining A cosy bar in the refurbished old lounge on the ground floor of our hotel has been designed to serve the needs of travellers and local guests from early in the morning to late in the night. Adjacent to the bar will be our restaurant, equipped to seat 65 people, which will serve an array of international dishes. Guests will be able to enjoy the view into the open kitchen while our chefs prepare their favourite dishes.  Salt RestaurantCombining modern cooking techniques with international flavours, SALT Restaurant serves a tempting variety of Icelandic specialties for lunch and dinner. The contemporary design, inspired by the building's history, creates a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere. "Mouthwatering surprises at SALT" is this year's philosophy. Each month a different ingredient, concept or seasonal specialty is featured in our SALT Restaurant & Lounge Bar. Some of the highlights from this year include, Icelandic lamb, fish and seafood, fresh summer salads, wild game and of course, a crazy variation on desserts!  Salt Lounge BarJust across from the restaurant is SALT Bar, providing a perfect setting for a good cup of coffee, a glass of fine wine and a plate of delicious tapas, one of SALT Bar's specialties.
Radisson SAS 1919 Hotel Services Health and Fitness After a long day of meetings or sightseeing, recharge your batteries with a visit to our fitness centre. All guests of the Radisson SAS 1919 hotel have free access to our fully-equipped fitness centre which features modern, high-tech cardio-vascular equipment. Towels are available for guests free of charge and all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Free high-speed Internet access As part of the E@sy Connect service concept all rooms at the Radisson SAS 1919 hotel offer free high-speed Internet access complete with Internet connection cables.
