From the inside out, the Hotel Quinta do Lago is offering a fresh new look and feel to services this summer. Here is a quick guide to what makes us the ideal resort to recharge mind, body and soul:

BEACH AND GOLF PARADISE
There are over 14kms of powdery white sand on our doorstep just waiting for sun worshippers and sports fanatics. While on the beach, hotel guests can make use of complimentary parasols, sunbeds, towels, newspapers and magazines, while cooling off with freshly cut fruit and chilled water. There are water sports just a step away, but if that all seems too much like hard work, relax with a foot massage instead. The beach service is offered from 1st June until 15th September 2003. The famed Gigi restaurant is open daily for a lunch of freshly grilled seafood. No need to take a wallet to the beach - guests can charge lunch to their room bill at the hotel. You can also choose to enjoy a round of golf in the late afternoon on one of the 12 golf courses in the area or top up your handicap at the driving range with a private golf clinic with resident PGA golf pro, Peter Lester.

TAKE THE PLUNGE
Hotel Quinta do Lago's large outdoor pool is surrounded by fragrant flowers and plenty of sun loungers and is kept to a constant 28ºC. Our Chef has created a new summer menu at the poolside Brisa do Mar terrace restaurant and a new Pool bar menu is being served from 10h30am to 6h30pm.

REVITALISING NEW HEALTH CLUB PACKAGES
Whether you wish to relax, revitalise or rejunvenate, the Health Club has just the thing. The Ladies Special includes a Peppermint Foot Massage, Aromatic Hot Towel Facial and Classic Body Massage, while the Gentlemen´s Revitaliser includes a Facial, Back Exfoliation and Aromatherapy Massage. The Wellness Programme for Body and Mind offers Shiatsu, Sethai and Reiki Massages while those seeking to improve on the court can take advantage of the Fit for Tennis package, which includes Personal Training, Technical Exercises and a Private Lesson from the resident coach.

EVENTS AND ART EXHIBITIONS
Take time to explore the cool and shady corners of the hotel's extensive gardens and you will discover more the iron and water sculpture exhibition of Swiss artis, Housi Knecht, held in the gardens throughtout the summer. Join us for cocktails in the gardens on Thursday evenings and tell us about your stay. On Wednesday 6th August 2003, the Algarve Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a set of classical pieces with the Ria Formosa lagoon as a backdrop, followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner in Brisa do Mar, where the concert will continue. Don´t miss the event of the year this summer, on Saturday 9th August 2003 see the Celtic Feet Irish Dance Company performing live for your eyes only with Collin Dune, former international star of the world-famous "Riverdance - The Show".
On Saturday 16th August 2003 celebrate the summer with our fabulous poolside buffet dinner followed by the spectacular "Cirque de la Lune" show, choreographed by the famed Cirque du Soleil artists. The price for the evening is Euro 95.00 per person, including wine.

THE ALGARVE'S BEST RESTAURANTS
When guests are staying on a half or full board basis, they can choose to dine in either of our two à la carte restaurants: Brisa do Mar for international and Portuguese specialities or Cá d´Oro, serving Venetian style cuisine. The Brisa do Mar terrace is now open for al fresco breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don´t forget to sign up for our buffets at Brisa do Mar on Thursdays and Saturdays. There is no extra supplement and diners are entertained by traditional Portuguese songs. Reserve your table in advance at Cá d´Oro this summer and enjoy a romantic evening serenaded by our Brazilian guitarrist, Percival.

CHILDREN´S PROGRAMME
Summer holidays should be a time for both children and their parents relax and have fun. There is a separate children´s outdoor pool which is temperature controlled and there will be a special Children's Activity Programme in operation throughout the summer. Why not take advantage of the Junior Golf Clinic every Thursday at 10h00 at the driving range. We provide special amenities for children in our rooms and for this summer we have a new table tennis and table football. Children up to 12 years old receive 50% reduction on the pension terms (Half board or Full board).
