Ca'n Casta a beautiful 150-year-old house, is located in the attractive and historical town of Petra, right in the centre of Majorca, yet only a twenty minute drive from the coast. The property has been meticulously restored with a tasteful mixture of Majorcan and Balinese furnishings. Most of the rooms have wood beams and stone floors throughout, whilst the bedrooms and bathrooms, although quite minimalist are of a high standard. We would recommend this property for all groups but probably best suited to families with older children as some of the bedrooms are accessed independently. From the town the rest of the island is easy to explore, with the nearby sandy beaches of Son Serra de Marina, and the fishing village of Colonia San Pedro within easy driving distance. In the town itself there are supermarkets, a few bars, restaurants and two wine cellars.
