There is a wide choice available on the Table d’hote menu and you can be sure of fresh Irish produce and the flair and talent of our chefs to create the finest of dishes. Diners can enjoy music from our resident pianist on Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as Sunday lunchtimes.

Guests can also enjoy a more informal meal or drink in the Cultra Inn set in the hotel gardens. The Cultra Inn has an airy yet relaxing atmosphere and is renowned for serving some of the most satisfying and wholesome food in the area – perfect for a tasty lunch or pint by the fireside.

The Spa at the 5 star Culloden Estate and Spa is one of Northern Ireland’s premier Health Clubs, and is a place where you can achieve inner peace and outer perfection.  Both hotel guests and Club members can relax and unwind in the airy surroundings, and take full advantage of the wide range of health and leisure activities on offer. Local Attractions

With all its tranquil opulence, you could be forgiven for thinking the Culloden is a rural retreat, yet it is just minutes from Belfast’s bustling City centre. Minutes too from endless beaches, lush woodlands, championship golf, horse riding and sailing. The Culloden Estate and Spa is also convenient to many of Northern Ireland’s best city and country attractions.

First stop must be next door at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum which recreates Northern Irish life as it was a century ago. Historic houses, schools, churches and mills have been brought here and faithfully restored. Visit a typical village and chat to the friendly “residents” as they cook soda bread on an open fire, weave linen or make candles.

The Transport Museum houses Ireland’s finest collection of vintage vehicles, an amazing and eclectic collection of trams, cars, bicycles, buses and aircraft – all in mint condition !

The nearby town of Holywood, only 5 minutes from the hotel, is a treasure trove of unique boutiques, craft and antique shops. A few miles further takes you to Mount Stewart, a National Trust property famous for its glorious gardens and ranked among the top five gardens in Ireland. Or spend an afternoon in the vibrant seaside town of Bangor, again only 10 minutes from the Culloden.

The Culloden is only ten minutes from the shops, restaurants and visitor attractions of Belfast City centre. Stay on after dark and discover the nightlife, theatre and lively music scene the city is known for!

The Culloden is also within pitching distance of many fine parkland golf courses, the most renowned of which is Royal Belfast.  Guests can enjoy privileged tee-off times and the hotel’s concierge can make the necessary arrangements.

The quietly imposing Culloden Estate & Spa sits atop the Holywood Hills, overlooking Belfast Lough and the County Antrim coastline. This is, quite simply, the most prestigious hotel in Northern Ireland. After all, the house was originally built as the official palace for the Bishops of County Down; today, a decidedly regal atmosphere, brimming with antiques, original artworks and sumptuous accommodations, welcomes world travelers. Diversions include a full-service ESPA spa, privileged tee times at Royal Belfast Golf Club (the oldest in Ireland) and gourmet dining in the award-winning Mitre Restaurant.
Visit “Titanic Belfast” and take a tour of the Titanic Quarter to see the drawing rooms where the ship was designed and the actual slipway from which she set sail.Distance from Belfast Airport (BFS): 22 mi/35 km
