The Resort’s 155 guest rooms, suites and residences capture the exotic character of Costa Rica, with comfortable rattan and bamboo furnishings, local artwork and indigenous wood and stone finishes. Each seamlessly blends indoor comfort with an open-air furnished terrace or veranda for soaking up the mesmerizing views.  Guest rooms are situated within three four-storey buildings, which are set onthe water’s edge on both sides of the isthmus. Canopy Suites are like tree houses on the hillside, offering views through the forest canopy down to the water. Emphasizing peace and privacy, these suites are a golf-cart ride or a five-minute walk from the Resort’s pools, beaches, restaurants and other facilities.  Residences provide all the conveniences of a private home, including full kitchen and laundry facilities. Located a short stroll or golf-cart ride from Resort amenities, these accommodation options combine privacy and independence with full Four Seasons service and access.

In a vast space open to poolside greenery, Papagayo is a casual, all-day restaurant serving continental cuisine and local specialties, beginning with an impressive breakfast buffet.  Al fresco on a terrace overlooking the pools and beach, Congo’s Bart & Grill is a delightfully casual pool bar and grill offering local and American fare.  Stylish and exotic, Di Mare is a dinner-only restaurant featuring Italian fare and seafood specialties.

With a shimmering gold-tiled wall as a backdrop, Tico’s, our airy lobby bar, is a relaxed spot with views of the pools and beaches.  Comfortable couches and communal tables create the perfect environment for socializing – sip an exotic cocktail and enjoy the lively Latin trio that plays nightly. For those dining at Tico’s, there are three restaurant menus to choose from. In the evening, you may opt for the chef’s delicious sushi offerings.

Capturing the essence of Costa Rica, The Spa at Four Seasons offers a calm environment with naturally chic décor and ocean views from relaxation lounges.  The Spa’s facilities encompass eight massage rooms – including three couple’s rooms – seven wet treatment rooms with showers and four facial treatment rooms. Hair and salon services are available, in addition to full nail care with three pedicure stations.  The two-level fitness center – with 2,178 square feet of state-of-the-art fitness facilities – adds inspiration with beach views through trees and greenery.

Designed by Arnold Palmer, our 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was designed with the resort golfer in mind. Spanning over 125 acres, this beautiful piece of property sits on the tip of Peninsula Papagayo, nestled in the mountainside along the Pacific Ocean.  For tennis enthusiasts, Four Seasons offers four courts with the clay-like Har-Tru surface. Located at the Four Seasons Golf Club – a 10-minute shuttle ride from the Resort lobby – the tennis program is managed by world-renowned Peter Burwash International.
